MiRTeL test (pre-disease risk test, early prediction test for specific diseases)
The MiRTeL test consists of two main parts:
1. Telomere testing
Telomere testing is a test that focuses on creating an opportunity to improve lifestyle habits for disease prevention.
The aim is to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the genes you were born with and the genetic fatigue you are exposed to on a daily basis, and to improve your lifestyle based on that knowledge.
Many of the diseases that occur with aging are caused by stress on cells due to various factors.
This is because external stress causes chromosomal instability, leading to a decline in the function of the entire tissue.
In fact, it has been reported that the strength of genes that can cope with this external stress varies from person to person. The key to this is telomeres, structures at the ends of chromosomes that play an extremely important role in chromosome stability.
The DNA sequence of telomeres is a common sequence in humans consisting of repeated TTAGGG sequences, but it is known that their length gradually shortens with age.
A large amount of research has proven that people with short telomeres are more susceptible to various diseases that increase with age than people with long telomeres.
The test that measures the telomere values and takes appropriate measures is called the "telomere test."
2. MiR Test
MiR Test is a test that detects disease-specific factors (= microRNA) from each organ and aims to detect diseases at an extremely early stage. Compared to various tests up to now, it has the advantage of being a blood test, which puts less strain on the patient. Another important advantage is that ultra-early detection broadens the scope of treatment methods and drug use, increasing the chances of a complete cure. For example, when cancer cells grow in an organ, microRNA specific to that organ's cancer is released into the blood. By measuring this microRNA, it is highly likely that it will be possible to find where the cancer is hiding. Disease-specific microRNAs have been discovered other than cancer, and detecting them has increased the possibility of early detection of diseases such as Alzheimer's. MiR Test aims to detect malignant diseases at an extremely early stage and maintain a healthy body by taking measures before they occur.
