Saliva-based cancer risk testing
What is saliva cancer risk testing?
This test uses the "Saliva Checker," which was developed based on the results of research at the Keio University Institute for Advanced Life Sciences. By measuring and analyzing metabolites in saliva using an ultra-sensitive mass spectrometer, it is now possible to check the possibility of suffering from six types of cancer: oral cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer.
Cancer types that can be tested
Oral cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer
Inspection process
Step 1: Interview and examination
Step 2: Saliva collection (0.1mL)
Step 3: Inspection at a testing facility (3-4 weeks)
Step 4: Follow-up examination to explain results, provide lifestyle advice and suggest treatment methods
Principles of saliva cancer risk testing
Most of the components in saliva are derived from blood, and metabolic products produced by cancer cells are also secreted into saliva via the blood.
The test measures these metabolites and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to assess whether the results resemble those with or without cancer, for each cancer type.
Characteristics of saliva cancer risk testing
● You can check your current cancer risk for each type of cancer (oral cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer) all at once.
● It may be possible to detect cancer even at stages 0 and 1.
● The test is easy to take as all you need to do is collect a few drops of saliva.
● Even those who don't like pain can receive this treatment with peace of mind.
