Stem cell conditioned medium treatment
What is stem cell culture supernatant?
This is the supernatant obtained when mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are cultured. MSCs are also called somatic stem cells and are cellular cells that have the ability to divide and differentiate. Dividing ability is the ability to literally divide and increase the number of the same cells, and differentiating ability is the ability to grow into different cells such as fat cells, bone cells, and cartilage cells. Mesenchymal stem cells are currently used under the Regenerative Medicine Safety Assurance Act to treat a variety of diseases, including spinal cord injuries, central nervous system disorders, diabetes, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, wrinkles and sagging, atopic dermatitis, and diabetes. The reason why such a wide range of diseases are being treated is because the various cytokines, growth factors, exosomes, etc. produced by MSCs can repair a wide variety of cells and tissues.
Stem cell culture supernatant contains the above substances produced by MSCs, so it is expected to have the same effect as administering MSCs. In addition, the cells used to manufacture stem cell culture supernatant include adipose-derived MSCs, dental pulp-derived MSCs, and umbilical cord-derived MSCs, and it is assumed that there are some differences in the components contained.
